Backing Boards

Backing boards come in any size. Mount board is used to provide support and protection for your artwork, either in a picture frame or as a standalone product in a show kit. We offer economy pressboard, standard matboard backing, archival quality backing, foam board (regular and acid-free) as well self-adhesive archival.
Economy backing board is fine for home use, but standard backing is thicker and provides more support. The larger your artwork, the more support you need. Foam board is much thicker than the economy backing and is the most popular for use in show kits.
Many of the frames purchased in local shops come with cardboard backing which will damage the artwork over time. For any original artwork we recommend an archival quality backing. Buy backing boards online by selecting your size and quantity below.

The frame and mat turned out exactly as I had hoped. The mats are cut perfect, the frame is well made and the delivery time was exceptional. I had the product in my possession approximately four days after placing the order.

I got some artwork which had weird dimensions, but I got the mat to have then fitted perfectly. These guys did a great job, and it came in less than a week. Absolutely fire
I was given 2 pictures from an estate sale that had been stored in a barn. One was in decent shape other than being very dusty, the other had gotten wet I guess because the mat was molded. The 2 pictures went together and had matching mats, one was burgundy with a hunter green inset and the other was opposite, hunter green with a burgundy inset, 8x10 with 5x7 opening. The green was the mat that had molded. I took it to Michael's and they were going to charge me $70 just for the mat! I started googling to find something online and found your company. The colors are almost a perfect match all for under $18! It took a little time to receive but was packaged very well and looks amazing! Thank you!
The matboards were of excellent quality and the packaging was great; there was no way they'd arrived bent or damaged. All were the perfect fit as to my specifications. My only small complaint is that I ordered an off-white mat and the inside edge of the bevel was white. Would have been better if that inside edge were also the color of the mat. Otherwise fantastic though.

Initial measurement dud nor take into account the margins of my art, so followed directions to bring in the matt to have a great fit. This birthday present looks fine for delivery.
